What is PEMF?

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) technology is a soothing and restorative modality that stimulates and exercises the cells to support overall wellness. PEMF is a drug free, non-invasive technology to help assist in enhancing the body’s natural ability to heal itself. As an area receives the electromagnetic pulses, the damaged cell membrane gently expands and relaxes. Through this process, the body releases unwanted waste, toxins, and inflammation. Once these undesirable substances are released, a healthy flow of oxygen and nutrients take place in that area to recharge the cells. In sensitive areas (those with lots of tendons and muscle), the muscles twitch because of super oxygenation and molecule movement in the cells.

Pulse PEMF is different from other electromagnetic devices. It has low-to-high intensity capability, which allows for customization during a session. PEMF is NOT an electrical current or shock.

About the Owner

Morgan’s love of animals started while growing up on a half acre with dogs, cats, horses & rabbits. She was always the one begging her parents to let her keep any animal she found or tried to rehab. Horses came into her life around the age of 3 with a Pony named Tony, but the horse that started it all for her was a bay gelding named Chance. Morgan’s dad bought him for himself but the day he tossed Morgan on his back was the day he lost his horse to his daughter. They competed in team penning and sorting and loved the sport. Life happened and they no longer were going to shows so Morgan semi-retired Chance. Morgan and Chance were together for 21 years but in 2020 he unfortunately had to be put to sleep due to colic. About 8 years ago, during Chance’s retirement, Morgan acquired a 2 year old Dun filly that she named Sunny. After forming a strong bond with the filly, Morgan started to dream of their future going to shows and competitions together. As a 3 year old, Sunny had OCD Lesion surgery on her fetlock as a precaution. After rehabbing from surgery, Sunny and Morgan were progressing in their training and were gearing up to start going to some shows when one day she came up lame in her hind end after a ride. After not finding anything on x-rays and having Sunny’s hocks injected with no progress in her movement, Morgan decided to give Sunny some time off. After a couple years of watching Sunny be on and off sound, Morgan decided to find a more holistic approach to her care. In doing so she hired on a massage therapist. The massage therapist helped Sunny a lot but she was still a bit off. In hiring a massage therapist, Morgan learned some techniques to do between appointments for Sunny’s benefit. Every week Morgan uses the techniques she learned and has adapted her own feel for them on her own horses. Morgan decided to keep going with the holistic approach and contacted someone offering PEMF services. The drastic change from using PEMF on Sunny was apparent right from the start. After a few sessions Morgan decided to have Sunny x-rayed again. They found she was fusing her right hock. Once told, the PEMF provider helped localize to that specific area during sessions and saw great improvement. With realizing how much PEMF helped Sunny, Morgan decided to get a machine of her own. After practicing on her own horses and dogs for the past 3 years and seeing the progress, Morgan has finally realized that she loves helping animals to feel their best and decided to form Mane Ranch Equine Wellness!
